“Decide that you want it more than you are afraid of it.”–Bill Cosby
This week, I accept the challenge to perform rapelling outside the gymnasium building. It’s quite high and scary but it was very fun. Trying scary things for the first time is not new to me these days since we’ve already tried a lot, from jumping to 16ft pool up to rappelling on a high building. I’ve learned a lot as well, such as convincing myself not to be scared and making myself calm afterwards. I really like this kind of activities because I can really prove to myself that “I can” and it is preparing me for something bigger things like I also want to try skydiving, it’s one of my bucket list.

I want to share something that really helped me in this kind of situation, every time I am going to try something scary for the first time, I always think of Dorothy and Manilla from “The Bucket List Family”, They are a youtuber, a family of 5 who sell everything they have just to travel the world and try crazy and scary things, and that makes the kids very very brave at their early age, Manilla is only 5 and Dorothy is 7. They’ve already tried diving on the deepest ocean, swimming with the sharks, eating with the giraffes, jumping off the helicopter and land on the ocean and many more. I always think that if these kids can do that, then I have nothing to be scared of. I just think of them and I am not afraid anymore. I lowkey also want to have a family like them in the future. I hope this inspires you too 🙂

Another challenge accepted. We participate the ABM Summit 2020. It is an honor and opportunity to be part of this event because it means that they trust us and they belive on our capabilities. We are nervous tbh knowing that our opponents are from IDS but still we face it, we did our best, we learned, we never gave up even though it is hard for us compared to the other team and the most important thing, we enjoyed, we never forget to laugh even on the most crucial times. I am super proud of my team, my school and myself as well. A job well done.
