“Decide that you want it more than you are afraid of it.”–Bill Cosby
This week, I accept the challenge to perform rapelling outside the gymnasium building. It’s quite high and scary but it was very fun. Trying scary things for the first time is not new to me these days since we’ve already tried a lot, from jumping to 16ft pool up to rappelling on a high building. I’ve learned a lot as well, such as convincing myself not to be scared and making myself calm afterwards. I really like this kind of activities because I can really prove to myself that “I can” and it is preparing me for something bigger things like I also want to try skydiving, it’s one of my bucket list.

I want to share something that really helped me in this kind of situation, every time I am going to try something scary for the first time, I always think of Dorothy and Manilla from “The Bucket List Family”, They are a youtuber, a family of 5 who sell everything they have just to travel the world and try crazy and scary things, and that makes the kids very very brave at their early age, Manilla is only 5 and Dorothy is 7. They’ve already tried diving on the deepest ocean, swimming with the sharks, eating with the giraffes, jumping off the helicopter and land on the ocean and many more. I always think that if these kids can do that, then I have nothing to be scared of. I just think of them and I am not afraid anymore. I lowkey also want to have a family like them in the future. I hope this inspires you too 🙂

Another challenge accepted. We participate the ABM Summit 2020. It is an honor and opportunity to be part of this event because it means that they trust us and they belive on our capabilities. We are nervous tbh knowing that our opponents are from IDS but still we face it, we did our best, we learned, we never gave up even though it is hard for us compared to the other team and the most important thing, we enjoyed, we never forget to laugh even on the most crucial times. I am super proud of my team, my school and myself as well. A job well done.

I’ve been questioning myself lately, what did I do to deserve all this love i am receiving?I know in myself that this is mooooore than what i deserve.
This week was a bit hectic since we are preparing for some events like the ABM Summit and of course the highlight of the week, the valentine’s day/personnel’s day.

We bought some gifts here for our beloved adviser because we are planning to surprise him on valentines day. I really hope he’ll like our gifts.

TADAAAA. We have no choice but to surprise him on the car since we are not allowed to enter our room but I guess he still likes it. You deserve more than that our dear Sir Junde but mao sa na among ma afford ron hehe.
After that, we had a date with my friends julia, danica and danica’s bff diana. We had a life updates and share some controversial things hehe. We had so much fun and I learned a lot from them, as usual. Because of the unstopplable chikas we forgot to take a picture hehe.

When I got home, I receive something that I never expect. I never received something from a guy on valentine’s ever since and I don’t usually care about valentines day before until my baby bois surprised me with balloons, flowers and a chocolate drink❤️❤️My heart is so happy this time and I really appreciate what they did because I know that they bought those stuffs from their baon (how geniune and cute❤️). This kind of things will always be remembered and I can’t wait to tell them when they grow up that they are the first guy who gave me flowers.

Another first time thing, we had a mangroove planting at Santiago and guess what? I am late again, I’m not a morning person obviously. Shoutout to Julia, Aiai and her girlfriend who waited for me HAHAHHAHAHHA I’m sorry guys and thank you very much, I appreciate it a lot❤️This is indeed a really nice experience. We goes to the beach which is our favorite place, we planted our mangrove trees there, enjoyed the view, walking barefoot, took some pictures and breakfast together❤️

It is also my queens birthday todaaaay❤️I miss and love her so much. It’s been 2 years but hope to see you soon on my graduation day yey❤️
To all the people who make me feel loved everyday. I love you more❤️

This week is a bit different from my other blogs. We task to share our Ethical views on Environment Ethics, so here’s mine😉
Human are considered to be the most intelligent creatures on earth that is why most of us label ourselves as superiors. We don’t consider climate change as a threat, we develop technologies to make our life better without thinking that it can ruin everything in the future. We always think that we can manage all the issues in this world but look at us now.
In this world that Anthropocentrism (Man over Power) continues to be dominant, we need to be the one who believe that living and non- living things are all equal which is the Ecocentrism, (Man is Nature) including environmental systems as wholes. Every cell in your body, everything that exist in this world is nature. You are nature. We are not separated to each other, what you do to that thing is doing it to yourself. The Earth’s biodiversity and ecological integrity is being lost at an ever-increasing rate due to human impacts. If we, humans still continue to be superior and gives more importance to economical growth than the environment, then this environmental crisis also continues. I remember our discussion on Marketing Cup last week, the speaker shares her point of view about marketing, she says that in business, considering our environment always comes first than the profit. She also says that we need to stop supporting those businesses who use plastics because if there is still demand, then there will still continue to supply. I think that’s one of the ways on how to help to our environment. little things make a huge impact if all of us will do it. If we don’t all work together to save the environment, we will be equally instinct. I know everyone think that it’s hard because human as we are, we want easy and instants but we need to take an action, especially now, a lot of unexpected things happened to our world. We receive bad news almost everyday. Changing our worldview to ecocentrism however offers hope for solving the environmental crisis.

PS. I can’t share my thoughts about environment without feeling guilty because I know in myself that I am not that serious about it but doing this kind of activity is such a big help for me because I am sharing my own thoughts and learning at the same time since we don’t just use our own knowledge when it comes to writing about issues, of course we do some research and critics. Now that I have learned somethning, I should start applying it.

We can’t deny the fact that we are getting near to the end our senior high school journey, we only have few days left. One of the most awaited moment of a graduating students happened this week, our graduation pictorial. This is the reason why I already feel the mixed emotions. I am so glad of course because finally we will make our parents proud again, the hardships and sacrifices will be paid off. And the very sad thing is saying goodbye to our school, to our teachers, who’s been very great to us, to our Daddy Unde who really made a big impact to my life, to the staffs, especially to maam janitress’ son scikriss (i don’t know how to spell his name) I will miss his big smile whenever I call his name:(, also to my grade 11 classmates and schoolmates.

But these are the faces that I will miss the most. You guys amaze me in so many ways, I may not be able to describe you one by one but I will surely remember each one of you. I know we have few things to comply but I am pretty sure that we will make it together, hand and hand. Ang very competitive ug di papildi nga section, St. Lucyyyyy❤️No doubt why we are always on top.

I really thought that our exam would be on Monday. I am about to review my subjects and I messaged my “bff” to make sure and he said that it’s on Thurday pa. yay. Thank God He still gave me a chance to chill on weekends.

I cleaned my room on weekends as usual and then I watched 2 movies from netflix which is nice and suprising because I watched the whole movie without getting bored. On weekdays, we just reviewed our past lessons in preparation for our exam and we took some pictures for our PT in our ICT subject.
one of the photos we took below.

I started reviewing my notes a day before the exam like I always do. On the first day of exam, we just took the minor subject so it’s just okay for me or probably most of us but on the second day. I don’t know I struggled a lot when it comes to studying our major subjects because it’s hard for me, honestly. I really forced myself to get up and study but my hands still keep on scrolling. The time that I recieved the test paper of our major subject, the first thing that come out into my mouth was f*ck, I don’t know what would be the result but still, I am thankful that it’s done and I survived. Time to chill again.

The year just started but I already experienced and learned a lot. I spend the last days of my 2019 at my cousins house in Manila, it’s my tradition to spend my vacation there every end of the year. I am genuinely happy when I am with them, to the point that i don’t feel home sick anymore, I always feel loved. I get to bond with my siblings which is my favorite part, I always play with them and make sure that they experience things that they don’t usually do, I really hope that they’ll remember everything especially the fact that they have the coolest big sis hehe. On the other side, I feel so independent since i deal things on my own, I wash my own clothes which is I don’t usually do and I also deal my breakdowns without my mom and grandma knowing. I am a bit sad now because it’s back to normal again. I am a student again.

You’re going to publish a post today. Don’t worry about how your blog looks. Don’t worry if you haven’t given it a name yet, or you’re feeling overwhelmed. Just click the “New Post” button, and tell us why you’re here.
Why do this?
The post can be short or long, a personal intro to your life or a bloggy mission statement, a manifesto for the future or a simple outline of your the types of things you hope to publish.
To help you get started, here are a few questions:
You’re not locked into any of this; one of the wonderful things about blogs is how they constantly evolve as we learn, grow, and interact with one another — but it’s good to know where and why you started, and articulating your goals may just give you a few other post ideas.
Can’t think how to get started? Just write the first thing that pops into your head. Anne Lamott, author of a book on writing we love, says that you need to give yourself permission to write a “crappy first draft”. Anne makes a great point — just start writing, and worry about editing it later.
When you’re ready to publish, give your post three to five tags that describe your blog’s focus — writing, photography, fiction, parenting, food, cars, movies, sports, whatever. These tags will help others who care about your topics find you in the Reader. Make sure one of the tags is “zerotohero,” so other new bloggers can find you, too.
